and welcome to the Summer Edition of the Aerial Entertainment newsletter.

Summer! Who doesn’t like summer? The beach is full of scantily clad females, the waters warm, crickets on the telly and there’s always something happening on the weekend. In Australia, summer also means Christmas. If you’re not the kind of person who enjoys packed shopping centres on sunny weekend days, then buying presents for everyone can be a bit of a chore. Well here at Aerial, we’ve got all bases covered!

For the woman in your life, why not grab em a copy of Sol Sirens, the first true documentary on women's surfing. For your baby brother, niece or nephew how about a copy of Learn To Surf With Andy Irons to encourage them to hit the waves. For the old man the Complete Crusty 1-10 set would really make his day.

• The first annual BSA Trade Show was held at Fox Studios over the 23rd and 24th September. Whilst there was a mixed response on its quality and value for money from the exhibitors and general public, the Aerial crew had a great time and met heaps of cool people, so we we’re stoked. Thanks to all the crew that put the event on

• Good friends of Aerial Entertainment, Macbeth shoes and Atticus Clothing are now available exclusively on a new website called Stay True Online. It’s a great site with more Macbeth, Atticus and other hard core inspired gear than anywhere else!
  

• The crew at SurfingLife have the best online forum for Aussie surfers goin round. You can get on there and talk about all kinds of things with like-minded surfers from all over the place. Here at Aerial, we loved it so much that we want everyone to get involved, so we're giving away your choice of DVD every month for simply posting on their forums.
  

• The new Mack Dawg DVD’s Follow Me Around, People and Jumping With Jussi are now finished and are travelling to us as we speak. They should be available at all good snow retailers in time for xmas

• It’s been a friggin crazy few months in the surf department here at Aerial with a heap of new titles being released and many more still to come. Some of the recent releases include Sipping Jetstreams, Delightful Rain, Ultimate Sessions, Stylemasters CD, Sol Sirens and the Limited Edition Brokedown Melody DVD & CD

• The Crusty crew have recently announced the places and dates for their 2007 tour of Oz and NZ. Starting in Dunedin on the 10th February and finishing up at Sydney on the 9th of May, its sure to be the biggest and best tour to date

• Aerial Entertainment will be closed for Christmas from Monday 18 December to Tuesday 2 January. So any orders placed in that time will not be processed till Wednesday 3 January. Also, if you want to place an order and have it in time for Christmas, it'll need to be placed before Tuesday 19 December

Competition

This Summer, to celebrate the release of the Stylemasters Soundtrack, we’re giving away 5 free copies* of the CD to people who order a copy of the Stylemasters DVD from our website. Winners will be announced in the news section of the website on 28th February.
